Jesús Barquín: Golden. Herb notes dominate the nose, with spirit in the background and more vegetal notes. Balanced mouthfeel, herbaceous again, and a pungent hint in the finish. 91

Andrew Jefford: Full gold. This is good: lots of aromatic engagement from the off, with a tight weave of flor, of dry hay, of high pasture, and of lemons in a wooden crate. Very Jerez and very appealing. Wood! Some younger barrels sneaked into the solera somewhere? And then very taut and concentrated on the palate, suggesting that this is surely a much older wine than its peers? Astonishing depth, purity, pungency, and force here: a truly outstanding effort. Statuesque, long, and fine: wonderful raw materials and beautifully stewarded. Buy in full confidence! 94

Peter Liem: Deep in color, this shows the complexity and character of long aging under flor, with an intense concentration of flavor on the palate. It’s extroverted while maintaining a svelte shape, and it persists with outstanding length. 93
