Jesús Barquín: Golden yellow. Clean nose, not very intense, pungent, with a spirity note. The mouthfeel is kind, balanced—a Fino that may not be overwhelming with personality but is pleasant to drink and not emaciated by filtration. 90

Andrew Jefford: Mid-gold in color. Very harmonious and serene now, but appealing. The bread and lemons of youth are just subsiding into the wild mushrooms of age. This is what you get on the palate. It’s not a pristine, stripped-back youngster, but there are lots of layers and depth of flavor in here, and it is very secondary and rich and banquet-like. Yeast, mushroom, umami, transmuted fruits, the maturer sort of nut (walnuts and the like)—they’re all beginning to knock at the door of this very complete and accomplished Fino. 91

Peter Liem: Dark and savory, this is linear in build yet subtle in flavor, showing a mature character from long aging under flor. It’s long and saline on the finish, feeling lively and energetic. 90
