Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow. Similar to the former, only perhaps with a little extra intensity and aging notes. Even so, there is a fat feel on the palate that seems excessive for a well-aged Fino. 88
Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Fresh, sappy, and attractive, with some shy pear fruit behind and bread richness in the foreground. On the palate, this is delicious Jerez Fino with lots of yeasty depths to it. That aromatic primary fruit fades away as I hoped it would, and the bready, lemony drill and drive takes over. Classical, mouthwatering, and good, with real poise and lightness of touch. 91
Peter Liem: This is appealing for its seashell-like notes of flor, but it’s quite simple and one-dimensional on the palate. It’s ample in body and broad in fragrance, without really going anywhere. 82
