Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow. Yeasty nose, with notes of bitter almond and marzipan. The palate mirrors the nose, with a spirity note, and also shows notes of ripe grapes not present in most other wines. 89
Andrew Jefford: Pale green-gold. Very attractive fresh yet flor-rich aromas, both tangy and leafy. Some slightly distracting primary fruit beneath. Pungent, lively, planty, sappy flavors: light, penetrating, and delicious on the palate, with the flor notes playing just one role among many in a wine that suggests not just bread but Mediterranean and citrus fruits and wild flowers. Harmonious, complex, and long. Something different but unquestionably worthwhile. 90
Peter Liem: This feels artificial and chemical, with an unpleasant harshness. I couldn’t drink this. 74
