Andrew Jefford: Wonderful, warm volume of fruit scent: sweet, graceful, open, and many-tiered, very close to most people’s ideal of red Burgundy. Warm, graceful, round, and almost roasted on the palate, with lovely volume and depth of flavor. The individual notes come and go, but it’s the harmony of the whole that one remembers: truly satisfying and seamless. The tannins are very soft, and the acidity is much softer than in many other producers’ wines, too .
