Stephen Brook: There’s some floral charm on the nose and a light, delicate touch that can be hard to find in Viognier. It’s medium-bodied and silky, with a hint of residual sugar that seems integrated. There’s a slight burn on the finish, but it doesn’t detract too much. There is varietal typicity here, though overall it seems a run of the mill expression of Viognier. The nose promises more than the palate delivers, but it’s balanced, and no element obtrudes. Quite long. 86
Andrew Jefford: Plain gold in color and rather neutral on the nose. Sappy and full on the palate but a little lifeless. A little bit of licorice afterward? A pleasant enough wine but one that lacks varietal impact and precision and clarity of flavour. 84
Peter Liem: While the aromas of citrus and pear are delicate on the nose, the palate is fuller in body, feeling pithy and fragrant. The finish turns slightly earthy, and it’s kept buoyant by apple-like acidity. 82
