Andrew Jefford: Saturated deep black-red. Sweet and ripe. No particular power of fruit, but it’s nice to smell black pastille fruit rather than green tones. Very Cabernet on the palate, just teased to an acceptable ripeness: a fresh, serious summertime Pomerol for chilling and drinking over the next year or two. The acidity is piercing, however. Now to 2019. 84
Stephen Brook: Lightly herbaceous red-fruits nose that somehow translates into a eucalyptus tone. Fresh, precise, easygoing, but doesn’t lack concentration. But the acidity is pungent and assertive, and even so the finish is short. 86
