BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dark red, bricking rim; a fine early bouquet of cedar, mineral, truffle, undergrowth, and sweet oaky fruit; very nicely balanced, elegant middleweight, with a mellowed tannin; fresh, long, firm, and fine; very long across the palate, with great tenacity and evenness of flavor; lovely balance of fruit to aroma, with classic Graves proportions and lovely, scented, minerally, aromatic length. Not, perhaps, the matter or structure of the 2005, but a very fine La Mission. Now to 2030. 17.5+/18
