Michael Schuster: Fresh, ripe red fruit and mineral nose; medium-full wine with a firm, dry tannin and a lively acidity; briskly ripe to taste, juicily red fruit in character, very gravel-marked, long, elegant, and even, with an excellent, aroma-dominated finish. Slightly austere in style, but very good. A masculine second wine in contrast to the more feminine character of Le Clarence. 2016–30. 16/16.5
