Michael Schuster: Dark red; sweet nose, faintly oily; overall, light for the property, sweet fruit, dry tannin, slight warmth on the finish; structure (new-wood tannin?) for the moment dominating the limited, rather delicately ripe fruit. Some length there, but dry texture gets in the way. May well make delicate old bones, but disappointing for the year. I have had much better bottles, though. 2014–25? 15?
