Michael Schuster: Mature color, very earthy nose; light and slightly lean in flavor, but not unripe; pleasant in the way that the 1991 is, with a little more edge, acidity, and oak dryness to it. Not up to the 1993 in this run of lesser vintages, but very pleasing nonetheless. Time to drink. 15
