Simon Field: Deep russet color, nose informed by caramel, cloves, and hedgerow. Palate quite spirity, slightly loose-knit, with taut acidity somewhat in the ascendant. 15.5

Richard Mayson: Quite deep reddish tawny. Rich, quite full, and fruit-driven, youthful, with the vestiges of tannin evident on the finish. Lovely length but lacking in refinement compared to some of its peers. 14.5

Margaret Rand: Sweet, rich coffee flavors; lively fruit and some youthful notes. Impressive and satisfying. 17
