Simon Field: Russet notes, then a nose dominated by notes of toffee, molasses, and charcuterie—not unattractive despite this description! The palate is broad, with almost sappy notes from the barrel sitting a little uncomfortably with the expansive fruit profile. 15

Richard Mayson: Mid-deep reddish mahogany. Rather a soupy, ill-defined nose, soft and full combining richness and some freshness, but it lacks finesse and poise. 14

Margaret Rand: Orangey and intense, with a powerful coffee finish. Vivid and confident, sleek and polished. 17
