Jesús Barquín:Serious, elegant, not overtly sweet. The mouthfeel becomes increasingly expressive and deep without dissonance and finally closes back around itself with a green note in the finish. One might think it has yet to explode and reveal much more, but at the same time it is already performing well and shows character. 15.5
Richard Mayson:Deep color; green peppercorns on the nose; quite fragrant, open, but underripe. Similarly rather one-dimensional on the palate, fresh, vibrant fruit backed by rather green peppery tannins. 13
Charles Metcalfe: Dark, rich, chocolaty, with dark plummy fruit. Tannins are very rich and smooth, very much a modern style of Vintage. Flavors are complex: a mixture of fresh and dried fruits. Acidity is good, and buoys up the density of the wine. Black fruits predominate. Overall, very good wine, with considerable potential for aging. 17
