Jesús Barquín:Aromas of overripe fruit (orange, fig), almost to a perilous degree. Sugar dominates the palate, remarkably ahead of other flavors and structural elements. The finish improves slightly. 13
Richard Mayson:Good crimson-blue color; open plum and cherry aromas, floral and already quite attractive; very sweet and seductive initially, plum and berry fruit with ripe tannins to back it up. Very fresh and still in its first bloom of youth. Well-balanced middle-distance wine. Drink now or wait 15 years. 15
Charles Metcalfe:Meaty, slightly sulfurous. Palate is plummy, with decent tannins and fair acidity. It has more structure than charm at the moment, certainly, and the aftertaste lacks real complexity. 11
