Mark Savage: The wine still looks relatively youthful, though the aromas and flavors are not so fresh and show a rather harsh and medicinal character. You might drink it if you thought that it would be good for you, but you probably would not really admit to enjoying it very much! I remember it being a bit more fun around ten years ago, but even then it was no more than what one would call a good initial effort. What a pity that the threat of rain meant that the grapes had to be picked before they reached adequate maturity.
