Jesús Barquín:Intense brown amber. Intense oxidative aromas, mostly featuring roasted nuts and a spicy character. Quite sweet—the sugar helps the flavors stand out, but it also prevents the wine from shining against its peers. 89

Andrew Jefford:Clear, light, and translucent. Sweet, fragrant, and enticing, yet complex, too: resins and incense, as well as burnished fruits. Mushroomy complexities also. A commanding aromatic profile. Deep, authoritative, and multilayered on the palate, a 20 Year Old with the kind of polyvalent intricacy you hope this age category will deliver. There is ample sweetness here, yet it is perfectly balanced out by the inner austerities (gingerbread, tobacco juice, citrus peel) of age-complete sipping… 92

Richard Mayson:Mid-deep amber-tawny hue; fine, fresh, slightly toasted and savory, very elegant on the nose; soft, silky, and seamless, very refined on the palate, with lovely texture and depth, a savorynutty character with freshness and vibrancy showing on the finish. Beautifully balanced. 94
