Jesús Barquín:Chestnut red suggestive of evolution. Delicate nutty aromas on the nose, echoed on the palate. Best among its 10 Year Old peers for alcohol integration from nose to finish. Delicate, balanced, but not very complex. 89

Andrew Jefford:Deeply hued but clear and bright. Toffeed, sweet aromas, without much freshness or lift. A little bit heavy and toffeed on the palate—but if you like that style, a generous, lavishly buttered tawny with some dry-fruit complexities behind. Much to enjoy, in sum. 88

Richard Mayson:Good color, brick-red core to broad amber rim; savory, nutty, and slightly smoked on the nose, plenty of secondary character here; lovely soft, mature, savory-toasty flavors backed by a dusting of spicy tannin. Beautifully mellow, melded together with a fresh, vibrant finish. 94
