BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane:Deep color, open nose recalling blue or black berries, very supple, tender, and ripe, fine tannin extraction, delicate, complex, lovely finish, no excess of alcohol (subjective feeling of course), perfectly stylish. 16.5

Thierry Desseauve:More masculine wine, straight and tense. The tannins do not have extreme finesse, but it is made to age and, indeed, is an excellent value for money. 16.5

Michael Schuster:Seductively ripe fruit to smell. Fairly fleshy middleweight, nicely balanced in its firm St-Estèphe style, but that said, plenty of tannin too; sweetly ripe flavor, modest complexity, nice length. A good, fruity example of the commune. Ideally leave to mellow for 4–5 years. 2015–25. 15
