Thierry Desseauve: Deep color; spicy and oaky on the nose; ample, rich, good fine tannins, powerful but interesting acidity, length. You have to wait at least 10 years—the wine is built to last. 17

Michael Schuster:Faintly farmyardy nose, early bouquet; elegantly balanced, finely tannic middleweight; dry, minerally flavor, ripe and long in the mouth within the fine, long-term tannin; complex, close-knit, deep in flavor, and with excellent length.
