Michel Bettane:Dark color, noble cedary and flowery nose, excellent classical style; medium body but precise and focused flavor; nice tannins, more tightly built and more energetic than most Margaux. Excellent evolution from the previous samples. 17

Thierry Desseauve:Dark color, toast and red-fruit flavors, elegant body with (up until this point in the tasting) the finest tannins of Margaux. 17

Michael Schuster:Sweet, oak-cedary nose; well-balanced medium-full wine, finely tannic; a fine, lightly gravelly flavor, subtle, sweet, complex, long and fine within the still slightly oak-dry tannin. But plenty of matter and substance, sap and savor, and with excellent aromatic length. Very good quality; texture currently a little severe. 2016–30+. 17
