Michel Bettane:Correct color, cedary nose, verging on the austere; dry tannins, no fruit, no smile, no great stuff; Bordeaux conservative style but difficult for foreigners or beginners to love… I expected more. 14.5
Thierry Desseauve:Linear wine, strict tannins, serious and austere body. Seriously made, but not for immediate pleasure. 14
Michael Schuster:Closed nose, quite new-oaky; relatively supple middleweight rendered a bit austere by the amount of wood tannin; dry flavor of modest depth, pinched by its oak texture, and therefore rather short and chewy to finish. Not sure this will ever come around. The Australians would call this “planky”! 2014–20? 13
