Michel Bettane: Austere in the nose and the mouth, dry and tense but lacking beauty of fruit and refinement of tannin; the stress in the berries seems evident. Not my favorite Canon! 15
Thierry Desseauve: Deep color, blackberries and mineral notes, tightly wound and linear; long, strict wine with a future. 16.5
Michael Schuster: Lovely, sweet-cored, cassis bouquet emerging; beautifully balanced wine; fine concentration, sweet fruit, slightly dry wood tannin; long, fine, even and minerally, complex, aromatic and complete; a classic, classy Côte wine with excellent length, if with the new oak a little present still. Excellent aroma and fruit persistence. 2014–24+. 17
