Michel Bettane: Brownish color, classic truffle undertones, but slightly unripe; supple and well made but no complete, high-class routine. 16
Thierry Desseauve: A very classic style, perfectly executed: toasty and fruity aromas, elegant and linear body, good tannins. Perfect balance, good length. 17
Michael Schuster: Fine mineral, caramel, and plum Merlot on the nose; a firm textured medium-weight; finely tannic, elegance rather than concentration, but a lively, complex flavor in a drier, more austere style; good length, complete, plenty of fruit without being plush or fleshy, and a nice gentle fruit persistence. Needs a few years. 2014–24. 16.5
