BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Golden yellow; complex fruity nose with more orange-peel elements in the fruit than previous wines; very fruity, a touch of Muscat-like undertones from Muscadelle varietal; long, harmonious, creamy, delicious. 17.5

Thierry Desseauve: Gold++ color; brilliant noble rot, opulent style, classy, too. A pure and classic Sauternes style. 17

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; intensely honeyed, faintly vanilla nose; rich, succulent wine, juicy, but of relatively moderate complexity; sweet, fairly straightforward, with nice length to taste and to finish. Very good, if some way from the great recent performances of this property. Now to 2025. 16
