Michel Bettane: Pale, rich, concentrated, excellent evolution—I misjudged the first samples. Noble rot in evidence; perhaps not so refined as the best Barsac but carefully made and long, with bags of life for the future. Excellent value for money. 17.5
Thierry Desseauve: Orange and roasted pineapple, freshness and elegance; not a full plain body, but a lot of elegance and freshness. 16.5
Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; light, fine, honeyed nose; nicely balanced, elegant, middleweight Sauternes; sweet, moderately complex, and with good length. Very satisfying at the level. Now–2020+. 15.5
