Michael Schuster: Black-purple; dense to smell, with the faint fresh herbaceousness of Cabernet Sauvignon; clear, fine balance. A concentrated medium-weight, with a firm tannin and vigorous acidity; long, sapid, minerally flavor, with a sweet core fruit, well defined by its acidity and gentle muscularity. Excellent length and persistence. Lovely. 2016–26+. 16/16+
