Michael Schuster: Quite dumb but fresh, ripe red and black fruit; medium-full, fairly concentrated, fresh, flowing, lightly tannic, minerally elegant wine; linear, vital, ripe red fruit in flavor, with a beautiful purity, very Margaux; long to taste, so “stony” and yet so fruity, too; vivid, sapid, mouth-watering claret, with lovely length. Deliciously splendid Alter Ego. 2015–25. 16/16.5+
