Andrew Jefford: Fresh, perfumed scents: the orchard after rain. Great depth of vivid fruits on the palate, though in tenor rather than bass tones; high definition. Creeping warmth and spice toward the finish. Well shaped and fashioned, and an energetic future assured .17
Michael Schuster: Deepish purple; fine, sweet, discreet nose; concentrated middleweight wine, with a very fine-grained tannin and fresh acidity; long across the palate, ripe, fragrant flavor; subtle and fine, a lovely combination of gently ripe fruit, clear minerality, and marked, scented length. A little austerity because of the acidity, and so will need plenty of time—10 years? But classy! 2015–25. 17.5+
