BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Great color; intense nose; excellent body. Classical mineral and salty tannins, very good definition of the source, lots of future; a wine to collect but forget for 10–15 years 17.5

Thierry Desseauve: Dark and big color; black and red fruits; rich body, tight tannic structure. Big length; big wine! b] 17

Michael Schuster: Closed, but clearly ripe-fruited nose; rich, elegant, very firmly tannic wine; lively ripe fruit, long and complex to taste within the firm St-Estèphe tannins; refined and complete claret, requiring many years in bottle to mellow and harmonize. Very fine, but a long term prospect. 2020–35+ 17
