Michel Bettane: Elegant and refined aromas; evident femininity of texture; great class and perfect Margaux breed. Lovely wine for lovers of delicacy. Riper berries than Gassies or Durfort 17.5
Thierry Desseauve: Dark color; precise and fine aromas on a spicy and flowery register; long, straight body; tight but fine tannins; finishes with a lot of freshness and spice 17
Michael Schuster: Fine early bouquet, fragrant, minerally; palate quite dry-edged and with just-ripe fruit, a marked Merlot flavor, but remaining austere and overall a bit lean—goodish; not really up to its usual class. Will need time to mellow. 2016–26 15.5 +
