Michael Schuster: Darkish red; refined, waxy brick and gravel nose; medium-full, fresh, firm but particularly fine-grained in tannin; freshly ripe, sweet core of fruit, very aromatic, long, and subtle, and gravelly in flavor; long and fragrant to finish. Lovely definition; clarity, complexity—a fine, aristocratic, complete, medium-weight Haut-Brion. Will need time, if not that long. 2020–35+ 18
