Richard Mayson: Retaining good color, mid-brick-red center, thin, browning rim; honeyed aromas, rich, exotic, and rather beautiful; rich and mellow in style, mellifluous texture backed up by a firm, dry finish. A little short but standing up very well for a 1960, a year that suffered from high levels of volatile acidity. 17
