Richard Mayson: Identical in color to the Graham of the same vintage. This is still raw and peppery on the nose, spirit showing though, and still needing time to meld together. Firm in expression, with a very pure cassis character; slightly green hedgerow flavors on the palate but taut and very fine, with a gripping finish. Showing much better now than I recall it tasting a year ago and coming together very well indeed. Like most of the other Taylor’s wines in this tasting, a wine for the long term. 18.5
