Stephen Brook: Very deep red, almost opaque. Vigorous oaky nose, has some zest; black cherry fruit. Medium-bodied, reasonably concentrated but quite soft in texture, cherry and redcurrant fruit. Burly and slightly coarse, but there is fruit here and some rude vigor. Medium length. 15

Stephen Browett: Deep, dark color. Roasted meat on the nose. Lots of chewy black fruits here. Good concentration. Ripe, rich, and solid with new oak notes. Quite extracted but some big efforts have been made here. My score was the highest of the group, others were less impressed. 15

Michael Schuster: Inky; dumb nose; medium-full, supple, but firmish tannin; slightly edgy flavor, fluid Cabernet style, modest scope, medium length. Not bad, but lacking minerality and freshness; some very slightly unripe fruit here too. 13?
