Stephen Browett: Medium color and a lovely, creamy nose. Compared to some wines in this flight, it is relatively lightweight but has impressive purity and class. This really shouts St-Emilion and it is a fine and finely balanced example of sweet, ripe fruit with structure to balance. Soft and lingering but with hidden power and depth. Supremely classy. 15.5
Michael Schuster: Dark mid-red; fine, scented, cedary, minerally nose; elegant middleweight, with a fine, firm, slighty oak-dry textured tannin; typically fresh, ripe, mineral-infused flavor; Nice Côtes delicacy, but will the fruit win over the tannin? Certainly needs time. Good, but not the natural ease and drinkability of the Belair for example. From 2018. 16?
