Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Almost opaque, but quite evolved. Pruney nose with some mint. Medium-bodied, fleshy, supple, quite concentrated, has an appealing silkiness to compensate for the lack of weight. Not extracted so it offers some immediate pleasure without effortful tannins. Little freshness or persistence, but an enjoyable short-term wine. 15
Michael Schuster: Dark red; ripe fruit and clear oak-cedar new wood to smell; medium-full wine with a nice, gentle, ripe fruit with some complexity, but this attractive fruit threatened by the dryness of the new wood; elegant and stylish, but dry edged. Good, light length alongside the very dry texture. Probably better to drink sooner rather than later. 15.5
