Michael Schuster: (Now incorporating the vines of what used to be La Tour-Haut-Brion.) Dense, sweetly ripe and finely gravelly to smell; finely, firmly tannic, medium-full wine with a fresh acidity; freshly ripe, gravel-infused flavor, gently, mouthcoatingly aromatic, elegant, refined, long in the mouth and long to finish. Flowing, complete, Merlot fleshy, a very classy second wine. 2013–23. 16
