Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Superb aromas of honey and white stone fruits from its classic fermentation, with well-judged oak that is marked but that does not dry either the flavor or texture. Flamboyant and nuanced on the finish, in a style that will please many. 17.5

Michael Schuster: Rich, ripe, waxy Sémillon nose, marked by new oak cedar; fairly full-bodied, vital and elegant; dry, yet generous in ripe guava, melon, and citrus fruit flavors; long and rich, with an almost juicy core, but aromatic complexity and length, too. The fat-waxy character of the Sémillon dominates for the moment. Very nice. 2012–25. 16.5/17
