BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A very elegantly constructed wine: nice color, remarkably well integrated wood, suave with soft black and red fruits, complete and well made. Lovely fine wine. 16/16.5

Michael Schuster: Black red; soft, sweet, ripe blackberry nose; concentrated, firmly tannic wine with a rich, ripe, low-yield fruit flavor, quite long in the mouth, quite complex, and with good, scented length; but the oak and tannin extract are marked for the year, and it remains to be seen quite how this will harmonize over time. 2015–25? 15.5
