Michael Schuster: Fine, softly ripe, scented nose; fairly rich and firmly tannic, strongly marked by dry new wood tannin especially; a good quality, plush, fleshy, Pomerol fruit of moderate complexity and good, light, scented length. Clearly good fruit here, but a question mark over the tannin texture, I think. At this stage it looks quite long-term in the context of the vintage; whether it will harmonize is the issue. 2015–25? 15.5/16?
