John Gilman: A very nice example of the vintage that has managed to navigate the potential pitfalls quite well. The bouquet offers up a ripe but complex nose of cassis, black cherries, tobacco leaf, soil tones, and a judicious base of new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium-full, long, and well balanced, with good but not great depth, fine focus, ripe and quite tame tannins, and sneaky length and grip on the finish. This will be a very good example of the vintage after 8–10 years and is a noteworthy success in 2010. Nice to have such an unequivocally good example of Graves rouge in this difficult year. 2020–50. 16.5
