Michel Bettane: Good color; here, too, some spice but also some rubber undertones. Medium body, well-extracted tannins, but nothing special or up to the best St-Estèphe of the tasting. 15

Thierry Desseauve: Fresh, red-fruits flavors with a hint of tobacco; spicy too, long and tense, good tannin, nervous and intense style. A lot of personality, excellent aging potential. 17

Michael Schuster: Ripe fruit to the fore; firmly chewy wine, slightly rustic tannins, a lesser Pauillac, chewy and fruity at once, but not a lot more; good, sturdy wine; better in a few years. 2014–22+. 15
