Michel Bettane: Dark blue color; cedary aromas; good body, even if less full than St-Pierre or less tight than Branaire; ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, good overall balance, no nonsense St-Julien; lacks perhaps some individuality. 16

Thierry Desseauve: Elegant, refined, deep wine, with very precise tannins; a kind of salinity in the mouth, long and deep body, pure and classic. 17

Michael Schuster: Sweet Cabernet fruit on the nose already; nicely balanced middleweight, with a firm tannin and fresh acidity; relatively supple, ripe fruit core, savory and quite complex within the slightly stern 2006 tannins, good length. Quite long-term—another one needing several years. 2016–30. 16
