Michel Bettane: Good color, some rubber oaky undertones, round, good comfortable tannins, pleasant; not very special, made for good drinking and useful for that. 15

Thierry Desseauve: Red berries and Virginia tobacco; a soft and tender wine with, nevertheless, a strict acidity. Ready to drink. 14.5

Michael Schuster: Light cassis and cedar nose; firmly tannic, moderately concentrated wine; dry flavor, a touch austere, tannins a bit dry for the available fruit, and finishing on the short side. Has hardened up in bottle and needs several years. 2014–20+. 14
