BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Good color, excellent body and balance for the vintage, young, full, classical style. Made for aging; retaste in 2014/16. 16

Thierry Desseauve: Dark color, good fruit, and some oaky notes; solid tannins, good volume but without finesse. Built to age. 15.5

Michael Schuster: Some nice ripe blackcurrant to smell here; fresh, firmly tannic middleweight, with an attractively ripe fruit flavor, relatively supple and juicy in the vintage; flattering, and with nice length. Not grand, but an easy, graceful, already drinkable middle-rank Pessac-Léognan. Very successful interpretation of the year. Now–2020. 16
