Michel Bettane: Great color, great nose; complete, ripe but very noble stony undertones; a lot of body; more intense than its neighbor Trottevieille but slightly less aristocratic and pure in the finish. Superbly made. 17

Thierry Desseauve: Dark color, the toasty and grilled aromas hide an elegant body; perfectly balanced, with a long and very fresh finish. Brilliant. 18

Michael Schuster: Very ripe sweet fruit to smell; a beautifully balanced, refined wine, concentrated within the fine, oak-dry texture; long, delicate, aromatic, and classy, and a bit new-oak austere as usual. Very good; wish there were less new oak. Will need 6-8 years. 2017–30. 16.5
