Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: The sample we tasted was very muted, but the tight, rigorous, focused construction of the wine leaves no doubt in our minds of the quality of this terroir-driven wine. It will certainly deserve a higher score in a couple of years. 17

Michael Schuster: a “cool” character to the nose, classic Medoc! Very nicely balanced, fresh, elegant, firmly tannic but fine-textured wine, moderately concentrated, freshly ripe, long and even slender without being lean; transparent, mineral-infused, and with excellent length. Purist’s claret in the best sense; very nice indeed. 2022–32+. 17
