Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: This wine resembles Clerc Milon in that the acidity is pretty biting, with lots of body and good potential, but currently it’s not very appealing. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Lovely nose of ripe fruit; elegant middleweight, firm in tannin, fresh in acidity; fresh ripe fruit, slightly lean and austere at the moment, that very high proportion of cabernet Sauvignon lacking a bit of “fat”; nice fragrant length but a long- term prospect. 2021–28. 15
