Michael Schuster: Sweetly ripe red- fruit nose; medium-full wine, with a light but firmly dry tannin and fresh acidity; pure, flowing, juicy fruit, sweetly ripe, a nice, linear purity; complexity, yes, if not a great deal, and good, light length. Lacks a little presence on the finish and has the feeling of a “good claret from a lighter year,” if some way from the best of the second growths—at least en primeur. Should make a very attractive glass in a decade. 2020–30. 16
